Utahans take pride in their outdoor recreation opportunities, usually just a few minutes from most places, even in urban areas such as Salt Lake City. Skiing, camping, fishing, hiking, and mountain climbing are just some of the many kinds of activities found close at hand for most of the residents of this state.
