National Association of Protection and Advocacy Systems
Federally mandated system in each state and territory which provides protection of the rights of persons with disabilities through legally based advocacy. Site includes information on disabilities, programs, public policy, calendar, publications, jobs, and items for sale.

National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (NLS)
NLS, a unit of the Library of Congress, administers a free library program of braille and recorded materials that are circulated to eligible borrowers by postage-free mail through a network of cooperating libraries. Site includes information on elegibility, catalogs of books and magazines in Braille and audio, and publications.

USDA TARGET Center
Resource center assisting federal employees with disabilities through the use of assistive technology. Site includes virtual tour, programs and services, TARGET Centers, news and events, laws and regulations, and related sites.

U. S. Access Board
An independent federal agency devoted to accessibility for people with disabilities. Site includes accessibility guidelines and standards, technical assistance, training, research, enforcement, and publications.

Federal Interagency Coordinating Council

Federal Information Technology Accessibility Initiative

Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA)
